@Jumowbray or like established vetsts (lidstrom, chara, nash, iginla, sedins, crosby, selanne, toews, st louis) vs young super stars (seguin, stamkos, kane, skinner, fowler, myers, hall, giroux and nugent hopkins) i think it would promote the young stars and showcase the older ones as the go out and maybe even have a little rivalry

@marth1800 Agreed. They should do North America vs. World every 3 years or something. Just imagine: Selanne, Ovechkin, Sedins, Lidstrom, Lundqvist vs. Crosby, Toews, Kane, Perry, Getzlaf, Miller... it would definitely draw some fan support.

I loved these jerseys for one. I think the NHL should abandon the "Draft" and do the NA vs World again, look at the World's talent. Also, I love how Colorado won the cup with 6 players (not including Blake) in this game. It showed how great they were that year

@marth1800 9 of the 12 starters played for the Avs at some point in their careers. Roy, Bourque, Blake, Ozolinsh, Sakic, Forsberg, Fleury, Hejduk, and Kariya. You weren't kidding when you said they were great.

how funny is it that among the Sakic, Forsberg, Bourque, Sakic, Roy, Hejduk avas players, you also see players that just 1 or two years before (ozolinsh, fleury,) were memebers of the avalanche, and 1-2 years after (Blake, Karya, Selanne) were part of the avs.
based on a 3 years span the avs had quite the amazing roster.
