The effect isn't that complex. It's just the voltage pushing off back and forth. Hot wire is the ball, ground is the cans. The voltage will travel from the ball to the cans, which creates a slight push. This would also work if the ball was the ground and the cans were the Hot. The cans would push the ball.

yes, one wire goes to the wire connected to the ball, and the other goes to both cans. and LOLL thats funny

than you put both wires from the transformer and connect them to the wire thats in the ball or no and if no where to put the other wire?, and omg i have the same exact transformer as your one in this vid

@Grundalizer a Neon Sigh Transformer, they are used for , as the name suggests, older neon sign setups before everyone swittched to solid state transformers
