Mauritania: Coup d'etat, sand, hot, camels and.... an iron ore train.
The company SNIM claims this is the world longest train. See http://www.snim.com/index2.html
At least it's the worlds heaviest.
Check out the third class passengers (who travel for free) on the iron ore.
I've taped this on the 14 november 2008 near Nouadhibou.
For the scenery, you see a railworkersshed made of oilbarrels (You can determine all sorts of brands,
Elf, BP, Shell etc.)
