http://bit.ly/9d62Qx Michael Laitman discusses in what way our world is only imaginary. He states our world is like a virtual reality, everything that we perceive is a result of our nature, and only by changing our nature can we perceive a different reality.
Taken from the Bnei Baruch weekly lesson "Ask the Kabbalist" of 01-10-2008
@Callirgos1 That's fine. I didn't say one should or shouldn't care. The meaning you place on things is up to you. My point was that there is no way to step outside your own perception, therefore it is subjective. Being subjective, it has no reality outside of your perception of it, and is therefore "virtual". I find "caring" more enjoyable personally but I don't believe my perceptions are Absolute. (-:
But does that mean we shouldn't care? nope. This guy is saying at 2:30 he doesn't care about this world, because only the spiritual is real... really? prove it.
Yeah our reality is an interpretation of data, but the data is of something... something is real. Shouldn't we care about it? I do.
There's no proof of this spiritual realm, and if something does exist wouldn't there be some kind of data impacting the data we do perceive... proof?
