It gives an awesome look at statecraft, from many veiwpoints

the problem here is the lack of alternatives, those have to be created from bottom up as sustainable communities and this goes with deindividualization and reinventing cooperative group identities which would be no contradiction to maintaining awareness of the true self.

politics and ideologies in my opinion are nothing but extensions of the globlal economy and here i agree fully with you that identifying with those is spiritually distracting.

there are various metasystems humans are integrated in and the close ones are healthy to identify with like families, teams, neighbourhoods etc.

but the only important one is economy because we depend on it for life's sake, like our blood cells depend on our whole bodies, there is no way to opt out the competition.

as this system is unsustainable and destructive for consumers, producers and the rest of our planet it is indeed crucial to start deidentifying with it.
