Karl W. Schmidt & Associates, Inc. introduces the BRT Bag Opener. This patented equipment opens bags, empties bags, and evenly meters the flow of the liberated materials for down stream processing. This equipment is suitable for applications with a wide range of materials; including Municipal Solid Waste, Recyclables, Paper, Packaging Waste, etc. and will open nearly 100% of bags including "bags within bags." The large feed hopper offers a "dump and run" ability for the loader operator that will also make them more efficient.
