  • @heydude76 Even a broken Boss 429 is worth more than a new Mercury. non Boss engine even,it`s still an original Boss 429 body.

  • No Deluxe door panels? Weren't all Deluxe interior cars equipped as such?

  • talking further with my dad his boss 429 was a crap can!! some how the oiling system in the motor was faulty, the crank would not recieve enough oil so the motor would spin bearings under 2000 miles ford fixed the motor 3 times and then the 4th time just put in a normal 429, broken hearted dad just traded it in on a new mercury 4 door, just wonering if anyone else had this problem, the boss 429 mustang is and will always be my favorite car

  • My dad is born in 1950 he bought his 1970 boss 429 for $4700 brand new in edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Think of this.... $4700 in 1970 is equal to $28000 in 2010 hmmmm I cant figure why the gt 500 shelby is $62000 in 2010.... this 2010 price of the biggest and best mustang means that the biggest and best mustang in 1970 should have cost $ 11 000 dollars, i need information from smart people! am i dead wrong to ask a question like this?

  • @bobwatters you and me both

  • omg i would litteraly kill a baby to get this car!!!

wait i would kill all the babies!!!

  • @Stayseated80085 Yes it was

  • @MrFuroius1972 No it wasn't

  • The 428 Cobra Jet was faster than the street version of the Boss 429.

  • @MrFuroius1972

I heartily apologize to the 385 Boss series & its truly hi perf legacy for ever making such a mistake. I ask forgiveness in advance if I ever accidently refer to the 428 CJ or SCJ as a flat head because of the overwhelming similarity in underwhelming lack of performance.
