This is my new oranda goldfish "Sushi". I got him the 27th of November. I was fixing a plant in his tank after he knocked it over, and he went into my hand and just layed there. This video was from last night (December 5th). He now lets me pet him (I'm very careful not to rub off his slime coat) and he'll eat out of my hand too. Sorry for it being really dark, but it was late, and dark outside and my bedroom light isn't all that bright. He is in a smaller tank, but I do have a bigger one that I'm switching him to soon. It definately reminded me of zeplinair 's Sweet Pea and eric2601 's Punch. I am wondering if it's part of the oranda personality?
In my observation, it seems that the orandas that go on to grow very large headgrowths ( or "wen"-sometimes too much wen) seem to do this more. Other fish usually take more patience to tame. I wonder if the wen and the behavior are linked traits. (Sweet Pea did start out as a red and black oranda. The video is a few months after her wen was surgically cut back due to serious health problems.)

Thank you very much for your insight. I was wondering if it might be linked to that as well. I'm hoping I don't run into problems with Sushi's wen, but I have been researching it plenty. Thanks very much for your videos as well, as I enjoyed watching them
