ive eaten this fruit for many times,and i even ate the chips,the fruit taste sweet but chewy,the chips are like that too,only its crunchy

i just bought some canned today from the asia grocer. it is sweet and said to be the taste that they derived juicy fruit from! i see some resemblence to the two.

I have never seen this fruit. Don't know how it tastes like. Sweet? Sour ??? Can someone eat it in front of the camera ?

Cut it up just like this! Don't try to split it lengthwise. Oil your hands with cooking oil first. Maybe use disposable gloves. Use a sharp or serrated knife. Clean knives etc afterward with cooking oil, preferably heated up. This video just shows the beginning. Now you have to pull out the edible flesh and the nuts. Boil or bake the nuts and rinse the flesh in salt water. Don't eat too much or you will get diarrhea!
