It's taken a while but i't's finally here! You can see Mk1 uses the tracked base from the new Excavator set and UFO parts for a disc, which where later ditched to make a more sturdy chassis and more effective weapon (that didn't keep bursting apart) ah, epic...

  • are they gonna be used in the proper lego bots series?

  • You can see the final version of Twister in the very first battle of Lego Robot Wars. The other robot was built as an example, merely to take damage.

  • where do you get the disk on mk1 and mk2

  • Curved parts from set 6900/6999, reinforced with technic axles and plates. But it wasn't strong enough and kept falling apart. Also, the wieght wasn't distrubted to the edges meaning it didn't do much damage either.

  • That also reminds me, whirlwind was made from the base of the excavator also, if you didn't notice.

    Just basically built up, strengthening it as I went along.

  • Och Aye, I did the same thing as you, only I didn't strengthen it as I went along : D and it shows! Can you see it wobbling around??
