Ashihara : Russia vs World

Ashihara karate is an off shoot of Kyokushin. I did not follow Ashihara Karate closely, but after this fight I probably will. It looks like Kyokushin in old days. Fighters are allowed to grab a partner's gi during the fight. it makes the fight a little bi more interesting.

Here you can see Alexander Lavrushin (Russia) vs Daniel Weibi Newmann (Denmark). Best fight out of all other fights. Dynamic. Russian won since he clearly dominated the fight.

Great fight! But are them really into the same weight class? Can you only clinch and grapple, or takedowns and throws are also allowed?

Daniel is a very good fighter.. Im from Denmark too.. I watched Many of daniels fights... Hahahah and he is not a whitebelt.. That is just the rules.. He is black belt, with 3. dan... Also called Sensei Daniel, .. He also won against Lavrushin, 1 or 2 times i think...
