Chimps don't use weapons, they use there hands. Wild chimps rip flesh from one another when fighting usually going for the eyes first, and on male chimps the testicles.
Why anyone would want an animal like this as a pet which is strong enough to physically grab and rip flesh is somthing I'll never understand.

The problem is people see a Chimp and think awwwwww look how cute, he is wearing people clothes. They are personified, glorified and idolised by Hollywood. But that is not the case. Chimps are incredibly dangerous animals, up to 6 times stronger than a grown man, weighing up to 225lbs and, as shown here, capable of doing serious damage....
