It does; the first time I played it I played through normally. Then at a friends place he showed me that rapids trick, and it makes the game go tons faster. But to me it's cheating, and detracting from the challenge

lol its a nice couple if you have them at about the same level use auto crossbow (or drill/chainsaw if its 1 enemy) and get the other use bumrush/phantom rush boom all dead

Dunno why, but of all the FFIV songs out there on Youtube, this one makes me want to pull out the ol' SNES and play this game again from start to finish.

Nah. Bannon and going around the rapids until you're level 50 early in the game is what broke it. Funny how they never anticipated THAT exploit lol

Sabin is MUCH biffer than that. He's like... Master (FFI) x 2 Guys (FFII) + Yang (FFIV)^2 / 3 Berserkers^-1 (FFV) + Cyan (FFVI) x 8 Barrets (FFVII) x (Wakka + Kimahri)^2 and a little Gabranth.
Then you're like at 1/17 Sabin's strength.
