@qreosity2112 The fisrt time I listened to this song I did for 23 times in a row before listening to another Ozric Tentacles song.I actually went to bed (in between times #11 and #12) thinking about waking up and starting my day playing this song. Then finally worried about an obsession I played Pixel dream then slinky x 4 then Eternal wheel then slinkyx3 then Yog Bar Og then slinkyx3 then Jurassic shift then slinky x3.Now I'm better. I listen to it 3-4 times a day while exploring OT further
40000 songs? Damn, thats impressive! Did you get all those songs for free? I used to use Limewire a lot until the Man shut it down...bastards... that was a good site. Instead of getting MP3s Im gonna get a deck style CD burner and plug it into the speaker system of my laptop so I can copy youtube songs. Then I'll make a CD with 16 consecutive tracks of Slinky on it ...yeah
@qreosity2112 I am actually listening to this song for the fortieth something time. I really like how it builds up. I find myself often listening to an Ozric song several times in a row. This one, however, has really somehow sync to my state of mind incredibly. I am addicted to this song and several Ozric Ones. No band has ever had so much chemistry with my inner being like Ozric tentacles. And I am a music junkie who has over 40,000 Mp3 files and about 700 cds. It's our little pmw.
oops... I know what you're saying gozad. There is something so compelling and hypnotic about this song, here I am listening to it again for the 50th time at least. :) I love Pink Floyd too, but some of the Ozric Tentacles songs take me to regions of thought and imagination that Pink Floyd can't. I am surprised that they are still so underground after 20 years. It's our own little private magical world...
@qreosity2112 I heard this song for the first time the other night. Started listening, saw your comment and I thought that you were just too excited about it. By mid-song I was engaged on a weird groovy dance that was one of the most spontaneous things I've ever done in my life. Since then I have heard the song countless times in the last three days. I am going to sound heretic or obsessed to some people, but Ozric Tentacles has just dethroned Pink Floyd's 24 years reign as my favorite band.
