@MerA83Dk I store my MM upright some are 6 years and older , no problems with them drying up ... don't store them upside down it will lock the lid on. just make sure to clean the rim when you put them away .It's easy.

It's too wide. I've had two of them in the past and went with a box because it was easier to hold them in. They need to make a seconde circle or cut down the width.

does the "upside down" tip work with model master aswell.. As they will dry up so hard if you forget to clean the top till it shines that you in some cases need a BIG wrench to open them and even then you get blisters and often find a dry lump of what used to be paint.. Does it help to put them upside down or is cleaning the only measure against this?? Plz help im losing paint by the sec

they are not worth even buying those paints.

Vallejo Paint Are So Much Better Than Citadel Paints. Firstly You Get More Of The Paint For Less The Price. 12ml citadel for 5 bucks, 17ml vallejo for 3 bucks. Also They Last 4 Times Longer Than Citadel Paints. Citadel Paints last 4 years tops. Vallejo paints last 15 years tops. So Vallejo Paints are Much better

@terrainapprentice They're called flourescent folding lamps. You can find them at most office supply stores for around $30 each.

I have purchased a Paintier 80 myself and I must say that I have never seen a product which comes in such a bad quality. The holes for the brushes where frayed and not cleaned up after drilling. The plastic pieces holding the plateforms apart were not cleaned up either after sawing. And there was plastic dust everywhere. Don't get me wrong, I like the Paintier 80, but the quality of mine was just not right for the price I have paid.

I had the same problem with mine when I first got it.
About 20 minutes and a bit of sandpaper fixed it up nicely and now it works like a charm.

Hey, i was just wondering why are you keeping your GW paints upside down? and for rampager89, i'd say go for vallejo i dont think the price diffirence is that big, though i'd recommend GW paints for metallics

Keeping GW paints upside down is an old trick that helps them to dry out more slowly than they normally would. It's a good way to save money and not have to keep buying paint every 3 weeks.
Also, it's good because it helps me to see the colors better. After I learned how to paint fairly well, I gave up on trying to know color names and simply started looking at the shades and hues of the colros themselves. It makes painting a lot easier.
