HISTORY OF MAGIC MINDANAO

In 1996 Bro.Maximillan Goloran was elected as the over-all President of the "SENIOR CRIMINOLOGY STUDENTS ASSOCIATION" in the University of Mindanao, in which the Crime Busters actively attached to the said association to its activities and projects mission. The following year 1997 it was the time of the great political campaign in school campus at University of Mindanao for the election of our brod who runs for Governor in Criminology Department in the person of Bro.Tabudlong. It was during the year of the incumbent of Bro. Fred Ballentes as the SUPREME of Crime Buster while Bro.Christopher Mamigo as the M.I. (Lord's Whip), then it began the time for Crime Buster in the campaigned for "Anti-Hazing". The huge recruits of "Batch 42" in year 1998 under the batch leader Bro. Enrico Villarino was the first batch of whole recruits emphasized a rigorous physical exercises test as an alternative inline to Anti-Hazing campaign during the time of succession of Bro.Uyanguren as the Supreme next to Bro.Ballentes.

In year 2002 brod Ronald Gaddi from Philippine College of Criminology had established the Phi Lambda Epsilon(PLE-Lambdians) at University of Mindanao with cooperation of the members of Crime Buster with the active participation of PO1 Felipe Tiu. Since the establishment of the second powerful member of Magic Five in Davao City, created a heated confrontation from the other faction of Phi Lambda Epsilon with their recognized founder Lord Buck Zafra, had been long time founded in Davao City at University of Southeastern Philippines in the year mid of 80's. The genuine PCCR based Phi Lambda Epsilon(PLE-Lambdians) only recognized Col.Wilson Relox as the legal founder of PLE-Lambdians, while Danilo "Buck" Zafra as his real name only known as the first hero of Magic Five that was killed during the frat war by a police belong to rival fraternity. Recently there's an open negotiation for the formal merging of the two factions of Phi Lambda Epsilon initiate by Polytechnic University of the Philippines Chapter(PUP). But then there's already an existence of harmonious informal merging of some members of the two factions beforehand. The college of PUP is now the most organized and crowded members of Magic Five.

By the year 2004, the first batch of Delta Sigma Phi (the DELTA POWER) in Davao City was organized thru the combine efforts of Crime Buster and Phi Lambda Epsilon led by Crime Buster Bro. Dexter Welborn, the Vice Pres. of UM Student Supreme Council with the permission of a PCCR based alumni Delta Sigma Power organizer Bro. Erwin Dacanay. The pionering batch of Delta Power in Davao City was headed Lt.Escabarte.

In year 2005, thru an initiative of Marcial D. Taguic a police officer assigned at Davao City had organized the Crime Buster in Cagayan de Oro with the direct efforts of Bro. Moreno a Criminology student at Capitol University and Bro. Chavez a Crime Buster from MLQU. On thesame year the Phi Lambda Epsilon was organized by the Crime Buster of Cagayan de Oro chapter with the permission of Bro.Vermont the pionering batch of PLE-Lambdians of University of Mindanao.
