lol they are big babies.
My pigeon does that shaking his head thing whenever I grab his beak, I know now that he probably thinks I'm feeding him. Or its just baby pigeon thing... hard to explain... like when cats knead with their paws when comfy, and why we suck our thumbs when we're young.

So, Fantails (Indian) do not nest up high like normal pigeons? they nest on the ground?

you have nice pigeons? where did you get them from and did you start off with just two?

iWONDER PIGEONS OF DIFFERENT TYPES FEED EACH OTHER. IF THE PIGEONS SHOWN IN THE VIDEOS ARE A PAIR THEN ITS QUITE SURPRISING TO SEE THAT AFTER BEING A DIFFERENT TYPE THEY ARE FEEDING FAINTAILS

Wow. My babies don't even have all their feathers but they can eat on their own already.

You have beautiful birds , why don't you make more videos ??

why do you have pet pigions it is cool
The rollers are a pair and no, those are not their biological chicks. They fostered the fantails from eggs. I did this because the fantails' real parents nest on the floor and the babies get picked on. It was much safer to have the rollers raise them. Pigeons are excellent parents and are happy to raise babies of any breed. I even had them foster a baby Mourning Dove once.

I love birds, especially pigeons. I raise them to show (yes there are pigeon shows!), but for the most part I just enjoy having them around. Pigeons have been domesticated nearly as long as dogs, that is since before recorded history. They make great pets.
