@sureshgurungtamu you don't have to change your thar. just realize your identity as Kirat. Kirat means Mongoloid people and native of the himalayas in Sanskrit. so any mongoloid ethnic group who have been living in the himalayas region since the himalayas region was known as Kiratdesh is kirat. Kirat civilization is old as the Chinese civilization and kiratas do not discriminate one another or others. You don't have to change your thar. just call yourself kirat-gurung and be proud.

good job kiratis. good job. did you know that it was the kirat who introduce rice, millet and pig in the indian sub-continent. it was the kirat who taught people to cultivate rice and millet crops in the himalayas. that's why being kirat is so proud. i hope we will have other caste like gurung, magar, newar, tharu, chhantyal realize their identity as kirat and take part in this dance competition next year.
