The mother and Alexandra have such a toxic relationship. She is throwing all her garbage on the daughter,, who has now become so destructive, left with her mothers negative emotions. Not knowing what to do with it.....Dr, Phil need to address the mothers behavior towards Alexandra, and the kids too. She is arguing with the kids around....

PErsonally I thinks she is a waste of space, she is an attension seeker, who has been lucky enough to be blessed with three children (which some of us are not lucky enough to have been given) and she is screwing there lives up, and keeping her parents where she wants them still doing for her by takig care of her kids day in and day out, then she can play the victim !!! some people are just number 1 arses in the world period. (sorry for spelling rough night !!)

@comptoircandela Alexandra loves the attention, thus why she won't take the help that has been offered to her so many times. If she gets help and gets the clean, she loses the focus of the family being all about her. The mom and dad have their own issues, but they love their grandkids thus why they have taken all 3 in to raise in their home instead of washing their hands of Alexandra and the kids like some parents do.

Even her looks has plumeted now, she has no future as long a she keeps on blaming everyone else. She will never have a normal life until she accepts the responsibility. She should kiss the ground that her mother walks on.

I agree with the other comment. Dr Phil is co-dependent with this woman. He's enabling her. He needs help to break away.

On the other hand, I can totally feel the mom's anger, confusion, and pain. This is her daughter, and despite all attempts made, Alexandra still refuses to acknowledge or take the blame for anything instead finding excuses to place on everyone else screwing her and her situation up. Alexandra's mom and dad raised their children, and now here they are raising three more children b/c their drug addicted daughter refuses to stop the drugs, get a job, and raise her kids. JMHO :)

@Vigdis777 I kind of agree and kind of don't. It is totally not right for Alexandra's mother to be constantly arguing and yelling with all three of those poor kids standing there. And Dr. Phil needs to help the mom find a way to stop that behavior so that when Alexandra is there, it is about spending time with her kids and not about repeating all the things she's done wrong...

Ever since Dr Phil has been involved with this family they have only got increasingly worse. Why is it that when he helps Alex it is called therapy but when the family try and help her, he calls it enabling? Dr Phil is not helping.
