Intro of this Blue Byte classic from 1995. Somewhat psychadelic, isn't it? :)

Awesome, thanks for uploading this, you're the man! Hm just curious, does albion have any more cinematic sequences? Like the ending maybe? If so do you think you could upload them? Anyhow thanks again for uploading this :)

@RattyRandnums I can't remember if there are more, but the whole game was recorded and uploaded on YT by other users so you could check if you like. Oh and sorry for the late response ;)

Hey, any idea why I can't get the intro working for this game on my dosbox, the game works fine.

not really, probably been cut if you got DL version off the internet. Only thing you could check is if you're running LAUNCH.EXE and not some different .exe. Launch.exe is showing the intro for me in the English Version.

This game is truly the king of all rpg-games, loved every minute of it (which ment a lot of lovin since the length was frikkin epic...), the only thing that brought the game down was, of course, the most useless thing after George W Bush... RAINER. Omg how many times didnt I want to just wrap my hands around his neck and slowly suffocate the O2 waster once and for all. Still, never ever owned a game that Ive played through more times than this 1, class all the way ;D

Hmmm... that's true, to an extent, although if you look at the racial concepts, they're pretty essentially the same - humanoid cat-people who live on a lush, green world that has a semi-psychic connection (the Goddess, in Albion) and have a psychic organ, as well as a rebirth ritual (for the Iskai - the Sebai ritual; for the Na'Vi, that thing they do at the end.) They also both have a 'magic' connection to their environment, though with the Iskai, it's MAGIC, rather than psi

@keybladewizard49 The overarching plots are very similiar: company employee/contractor falls in with the natives of an alien world and ultimately fights to defend them against an unscrupulous corporation desperate for a massive pay dirt. The exact details differ a lot though, yeah.

On the Iskai/Na'Vi thing: I saw the Na'Vi as being human-like with certain feline characteristics and features, and the Iskai as being essentially feline with certain human charateristics (like standing upright).

@MrSmibby Not really. There's several important differences if you get past the fact that the Na'Vi are blue Iskai.

Then again, I've never gotten past the dungeon in Arjano, so I don't really know about how useful he is in later stages of play.

Have no idea in what way the intro relates to the game - it's that wonderful European thing that while it's totally different is also wonderful sometime wonderfully so! I keeps happening because later we got that other wonderful European game Beyond Good and Evil and later after that the wonderful STALKER!! :)
