I've said it before and I'll say it again, TTG does a great job bringing this genre into the modern age. Their idea of episodic gaming also works (something Valve could learn from). I don't mind the odd glitch, cause these games are some of the best I've played in my 30-odd years of gaming. Even my mother said the ToMI looked good after watching the trailer. Can't wait to start playing finally!

@CMillerMusic Lucas Arts are doing special editions, but Telltale can still do Tales of Monkey Island.

@CMillerMusic Really where was that stated? In fact the statement I heard was the oppersite, saying Tales was in fact a monkey island 6, with 5 being a later game they'd do to fill in the gap when TellTale have the man power to make a 40+ hour epic adventure game.

Tales of Monkey Island is the perfect example of an episodic game.
Episode 1 was glitchy, easy, only slightly amusing and looked terrible.
The last episode was hilarious, difficult, great lighting and detail, near bug-free.
TOMI got these guys a lot of money, and they used it well.
