  • @ScottHermanFitness I dont' understand what you mean with "lower part". Abs are a single pair of muscles thus they are entirely affected by the contraction. Are you able to contract the lower part of your biceps? No. Just search for "abs anatomy" on google image o search for "Rectus abdominis muscle" on wikipedia.

  • Ah I've been wondering about this for a while! The answer is finally here.

  • Very difficult when done correctly as you show. Looks easier than it is...lol. I can only do like one. Oh well...now my goal is to get two done. Thanks!!

  • @ blackside909 completely right. the only part that works the ab is at the top of the movement, where ab FLEXION, rather than leg extension occurs. better to hang with thighs at 90 degree angle, and then use flexion to curl the ab. also, better than straps, is to hang from bar, partially pulled up, so upper arms are parallel to floor. this creates tension in adjacent core muscles, leading to better definition.

  • @blackside909 it mainly works out m. psoas major and m. iliacus (hip flexing muscles, not visible from outside the body)

  • Scott, HELP! I want to start getting into shape and i need to lose about 40 pounds first. Do you have any suggestions on a good diet plan where I feel like im not not starving myself?

  • i have a 1 pack and it is big

  • Great video! Thanks for sharing!

  • Just shows the support of this channel, this video was already featured on Abs of Glory, and still only 3 dislikes, AWESOME!
