This is a quick demo of a 16mm movie projector, to show something discussed on a mailing list that I'm on.

Someone may comment I'm being rather brutal with it, but the projector had survived over twenty years in a school, I have a lifetime supply of spare globes, and the film strip was an already hacked up bit used for training projectionists

And yes, I have repeated myself a few times. But then that saves you from having to replay the clip. I'm a cameraman, not a narrator.

The other lens hanging down is an anamorphic lens.  It's swung up in front of the main lens, to show widescreen films.

This is the projector used to show the old 1970s television car adverts that can be seen, elsewhere, in my YouTube channel.
