Joy's vet visit

Joy the Roborovski hamster was visiting the vet because she couldn't stop running in circles. She previously had skin tumour that was removed, but the vet suspected that the tumour came back & spread to her brain, causing her to experience vertigo. The vet didn't want to take a blood sample from her to make sure that it was cancer or just some bacterial infection because drawing blood from such a small creature would kill her. So the alternative was to prescribe her with antibiotics.
