  • the actors seem really incompetent

  • 0:36 but like, you know, all surly he doesn't know that sentence that has been passed on him? -WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY THAT?!

    lol such bad acting

  • @Suavissimo totally agree

  • Nice sets and photography, but I found the actors distractingly inexperienced.

  • @FlaminFingaz

Well, whether one sounds better than the other depends on one's preference. There are many different translations of Kafka's works. For mine, it is "guilt is never to be doubted." It is up to the translator to retain as much of the effect that Kafka had with his words as he or she can. Unfortunately, some of it will inevitably be lost in translation. I'd say the one that provides a more powerful message or contributes to it is better.

  • it fits,.,it fits,.,is a game only,,:;!:!;!

  • Yeah I agree on the accents. Though I think adaptions of Kafka's stories should be extremely faithful or provide a new perspective, not just modernising etc.

I like Steven Soderbergh's film Kafka, though its not based on any of Kafka's stories, it just seems so...Kafka-esque?

  • I cannot associate this video with the story. But it's a good shortfilm anyway.

  • Unbelievable production value. Though obviously there were some liberties taken with the story itself. Not sure if I like the American accents though. But I'm just nitpicking is all.

  • "but surely he knows he has been sentenced... Right?"

I'm sorry, but that "right" just doesn't fit.
