Goalies have THE hardest job in the hockey league, they are pretty much by themselves. There are teams within teams: defensive pair, team; forwards trio, team. They have to be physically and mentally strong for the whole sixty minutes. It's true, absolutely no one remembers the games where the star player is the goalie. The only thing that determines how good the goalie is, is his worst performances. It's unfortunate.

@AKzach97 i agree im a canucks fans and I stand up for luongo I hate people that think he sucks I know he can win the cup but every year his team goes into a defenseless break down in the playoffs and he always gets blame im a goalie myself i dont have to be in the nhl to experience what its like to be a goalie underpressure but I do no when my team stops playing defense I let in more goals in its the same for real nhl goalies to you must have defense are your not stopping pucks without it

i feel for lu when a lot of peeps in the media were feasting on his being a back up when Schneids was on a run. but he took everything with grace. he was humble and supportive of schneids. i was hoping that that experience will only make him better. and it did. now the detractors are quiet. because Lu delivered, every game.
