Lisa sings Now We Are Free, from Gladiator the movie. This song was original written by Lisa Gerrard, in her own language she created, 'because that's her way to come in contact with God' Well, maybe she is able to :)

I love Lisa's version, it makes the song really romantic, but I prefer Lisa Gerrard's version above all. What do you think ?

That's a sweet picture of Lisa Kelly. I added her to my video collection. It's true Hans Zimmer and Lisa Gerrard made this song. I still enjoy Lisa Kelly's version. She has a lovely voice. I wish Celtic woman would do another PBS special. They are a most excellent singing group. Love everything about their PBS specials.

Folks, one more time, this isn't sung in an excisting language like Herbrew or Irish. Lisa Gerrard has delevoped it from several languages and used her own words since she was a child. You can see it as something spiritual. She sings many of her songs in this language, like Come Tenderness, Serenity, The Valley of the Moon, Tempest.

I want the version of Lisa on my funeral! even though i'm 17 now, I know this will be the song at the end of my funeral!

@buffyxangelll Lisa Gerrard version is my favorite also :) Lisa Kelly's version is lovely, but Lisa Gerrard's version sends shivers down my spine.. I remember the first time I watched Gladiator, lump in my throat and emotional feelings. And I'm not easy to get emotional by movies.

@friendsaregreat100 It actually has nothing to do with tongues. True tongues is usually not spoken intentionally by an individual. It's as if they are taken over and being used as a conduit for some form of message. Tongues is usually spoken in a known language also. That language may not be known by the person who is speaking it either. This is why many consider speaking in tongues a kind of miracle. This song is sung in a whimsical language, made up of several other languages.
