After taking out the air defense station, perch on a nearby cliff and wait until the convoy nears Delta before ambushing the escort rear. Protect the landing zone from trespassing Mechs as one PPC blast could annihilate the entire rescue force.

@harkeill I think there is a thing called external camera, like in MW2. Perhaps a mechwarrior can fight in third person in reality?

Never understood how people can play in the third persin. You don't get the full mechwarrior experience unless you play first person

Well that is if Harmony Gold let's that happen. Piranha Games was issued a Cease and Desist order from Harmony Gold's lawyers.

game does the talking, orders issued via keyboard.

Mechwarrior 2 & 3 were better...... 2 made the player work within the mech limits as did 3 and 3's sound was much better.

4 introduced hard points a solid idea but then eliminated the risk involved in mech setup.... overheats just shut the mech down and alpha strikes were no longer scary last options but typical because you wouldn't die doing it.

they should have taken the best from all the mech games.... hopefully 5 will get it better.
