Late-Morning Sun - Acoustic Original by Tom Barry

Trying to get back into song-writing and singing. Wrote this earlier today in a couple of hours, spent most of the time on the lyrics as the rest is pretty simple. Hopefully once back in the UK I'll be able to do a lot more with stuff like this. Let me know what you think!

Lyrics:

Late-morning sun,
I have come undone,
But not too late for your rays,
To brighten up my face.

So late-morning sun,
Cover me in warmth,
I've been oh so far from home,
And don't know where I belong.

Let me, feel the burn on my back,
As I walk the tracks,
Teach me what it means,
To feel sincerity,
Accept the cuts and scars,
That makes us who we are,
Nourish all my trees,
My planted-fantasies,

And burn the seven-seas,
Bring me to my knees,
Set everything alight,
And do it out of spite,
Encapsulate my dreams,
