Here is simple mini video showing you the step by step in creating full body morph in Zbrush using GOZ and Daz Studio 4 Pro and exporting it for use as product or sharing with others.
I had problems with the audio so this is just capture of what I am doing, next time I will make better one .
1. Export to Zbrush via GOZ
2. Making quick morph and exporting back to DS4 Pro
3. Testing new shape
4.Rigging new shape
5.Adding rigging to new Shape
6.Testing new rigging
7.Exporting New shape with Rigging
8.Testing final work On Genesis

  • Thank you so much for this video. I have a question though, is it possible to use the GoZ feature with other figures or is it only compatible with Genesis?

  • @LavynderSylk Thanks, you can use GOZ for import anything from Zbrush or export anything to Zbrush , this is just a bridge to export or import any 3D models between the 2 applications .

  • Great stuff!

Can you tell me what you did with the second leg? Did you flatten it into the surface mesh or is it hidden inside the body?

  • @mrjhalpin Thank you, flatten it into the mesh surface, the bones in DS aligned inside the body smashed, so after auto rigging you just set the parameters before export the rigging with the shape

  • Excellent, I find my morphs that come back from GoZ do not look exactly the same once DS4 smoothing takes effect...they are too smooth.

  • @Boeing727223 Thank you, They do looks the same actually , if you smooth the preview in Zbrush to the same level as DS show them up the work will be much better , if you work just on the low poly view you will have always different effect after subdivision , I am checking from time to time how it looks like, and often working with 2 subdivision and then return back to the low level before export back to DS and everything looks just the same .
