The Sims 3 Movie Mashup Guide / Tutorial

Hey everyone :-)

Gamespot UK has recently uploaded a range of new Sims3 videos, all relating to the new Movie Mashup tool which will be available to use on thesims3.com to help you create some cool Sims 3 movies! Associate Producer of TheSims3, Jennifer Lane, guides you through this video, teaching you the 'how to's' when it comes to using the Movie Mashup tool to make your movies. The overal process looks very similar to the mashups people created on the now closed 'Sims on Stage BETA' website.

It might have been the way it was screen captured. I'll probably have a go with it, but I know I'll be sticking with the programs I'm currently using anyway :-)

I wonder if it will be possible to just save it to your computer at all.... Looks like they've done away with that :(

you have a point, ts2 people are way better looking. but didint yo realized that the sims they had for ts2 ads are incredibly ugly? ts3 people will be better looking once you get cc im sure.

Looks great - the mashup tool that is - looks very similar to Windows Movie Maker if you ask me with the whole simpleness of just dragging and dropping, it's great that they've finally made it so we can edit videos without using a movie making programme. Thanks again for sharing! 5 stars!

Can someone please tell me how the sims movie maker on YouTube, Lodelday (please check out her channel, she makes PHENOMENAL videos) how does she make those videos, like without the little green diamond on everybody and how she puts voices on characters and what she uses to make it? PLEASE REPLY=)

Thanks, I'm new to the sims and still deciding if I should buy it or not. I write lots of stories and sometimes I try to film them with my old video camera with friends but they always turn out...mehhh....pretty bad and I'm not allowed to show my face on YouTube so I thought the sims 3 movie would be awesome to share videos n stuff and maybe get into the movie director business someday, it's my dream!
