  • @melangeken "Yes they are li-ion batteries I know"

Really, do you KNOW? Dude, current - and past - Prius generations doesn't have even a molecule li-ion battery, but they do have NiMh batteries. First lead, then li-ion. It's obvious you have absolutely no clue what you are talking about.

Yes, plain and simple, you are a clueless moron. LOL! :)

  • @EVdriver8 Actually they aren't batteries at all, but capacitors.

  • Wow...certainly wasn't expecting to see something like this from Prius-maker Toyota.

Can't wait to see the Le Mans 24hrs. Wonder if Toyota could take the place of the late Peugeot 908s to give Audi some decent competition in the LMP1 category.

  • @melangeken About the Prius vs Hummer, and the infamous "Dust to dust" bull why don't you search the internet on that very same pseudo-study? See what NASA had to say about it. See what Carnegie Mellon University had to say about it, don't take my word for it. About the solar modules, I'm in the Solar business you know, I could prove you wrong so hard it would blow your socks out, but the "Stupid" part begs for me to leave you alone with your superior knowledge. Good luck with that.

  • @EVdriver8 Go suck on my balls you faggot.

  • @EVdriver8 Yes they are li-ion batteries I know , li-ion batteries don't even get recycled , they're thrown away on junkyards because they have low recycling value.

The fact is that they remain batteries , lead or not they are made of toxic materials that don't get recycled like they should.

Anything useful to reply except calling me a moron?

  • Motorsport porn!!

  • @jmmp00 I can go deeper in this but why should I , you think what you think and I think what I think.

If it's for the environment let's think about this there's more lead in a prius than in a hummer and in 10 years when we all have solar panels on our car we would need to drive 20 years with our car before they become economical.(solar panels require very much energy to produce)

This going green thing is hilarious , it's like buying an apple , because it's hip and trendy. Stupid sheeple.

  • TOYOTA PRIUS and the hybrid technology of TS030 are created in a totally different concept.

PRIUS have a transaxle built-in motor generator, but a TS030 have front wheel built-in motor generator. This is a system suggested to upper part officer of Toyota before NIPPON DENSO announces the PRIUS. Therefore, the technique of the production model is not adopted for racing hybrid development.
