illegal school bus railroad train crossing college grove tennessee williamson county schools

College Grove Tuesday May 12, 2009 time was approximately 8:00-8:30 am. One bus, 05-46, crosses the tracks illegally and obviously does not follow policy. This is 6 days after Williamson County Schools was told buses might be crossing railroad tracks illegally. And 5 days after a video was posted where buses did cross tracks in Thompson Station illegally. Last bus stops, but does not open door nor set parking brake according to Williamson County Schools Transportation policy.

False video? The video doesn't lie. The video is real and the driver went through the tracks twice w/o stopping. That's real.

your right, they should have stopped completely placed their parking brake and then opened the window and door. There were several things wrong there.

Busdriverwilliamson is in the right here people. Anyone remeber the Chicago METRA-vs-Chicago School Bus accident a few years back? Same bad idea - and will someday lead up to same horrible results DEAD CHILDREN! Federal law prevails - bus drivers must come to a complete stop, open their acess door and acess if the tracks are safe to cross. NONE of the bus drivers in this video followed FEDERAL LAW, let alone school district S.O.P.s. Anyone want the job of notifying the children's parents?

School Buses, Taxis, and trucks with hazmat placards Have to stop. It is a Federal Law! (unless the crossing had a traffic signal) They have to stop at drawbridges too!

I did come forward which is why the videos are on the web. The gutless are those who knew drivers were not obeying the law, putting children in danger and saying nothing.
