I have conquered the game twice without using cheat devices--and never without them, since I don't USE them at all--but this video certainly wasn't one of those times. Beating the shark's brother mostly seems to come down to luck. Once you do that, there's not a lot after that to give you much trouble, assuming you've built up a good supply of lives!

This game and Battletoads were the only NES games I had when I was little that I DID NOT beat.... The sharks older brother or whatever PWND ME INTO TEARS, and Terra Tubes in Battletoads..... those two are what nightmares are made of.... -_-

this game was brutally hard, or at least i thought it was when i was little (about 6 years old), the purple jungle of doom was hard, but i think the hardest boss was the sharks brother
