Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's "Ave verum corpus"(KV. 618) was composed in 1791 to celebrate the feast of Corpus Christi. It is only forty-six bars long and is scored for SATB choir. The Eucharistic hymn text has been set to music by various composers and dates from the 14th century. Choirparts, SATB, Score. This hymn in this video was sung by the Pittsburgh Diocesan Choir during a pilgrimage to The Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington DC.
