We successfully finished the MSG - 30th Anniversary - (Special Line-up) Japan Tour. A DVD and Recording featuring live footage from this tour will be released in Autum.

Also, a long awaited Instructional DVD will be available in stores soon.

  • Philips was by far the best drummer for MSG. Cozy Powell could not cut "Feels Like a Good Thing" and nobody ever has grooved this particular song like Philips.

  • @rickfisk I totally agree with you on what you're saying, Phillips is such a solid powerhouse, the intro of Feels like a good thing,, only he can play it!

    not to take anything from Schenker's past drummers

    But am m so glad he took over the drums for this tour !

  • I actually thought Shane Galaas was the best besides Powell and Phillips.
