God, I wish i born around this time to see them live. I had to be born in the 80's damn it!

JPJs bass sounds huge on this. Such great tone! What an all around monster he is.

I'm no musician, but I can see why they elected to close the group after Bonham died. Don't think there was anyone who could have filled the void he left.

From the mouth of JPJ: “My dad had taught me this very easy notation system using note values and numbers. So I wrote it on a piece of paper on the train, probably the ticket. It was originally all in 3/16 time, but nobody could keep up and Bonzo struggled with the juxtaposition of the songs basic 4/4 rhythm with the 5/8 riffing of myself and Jimmy on the B-verse section. I told Bonzo to keep playing 4 to the bar all the way cause if we go through enough 5/8’s, it arrives back on the beat”.

jemmani22...the riff is brought to Zep by JPJ, that is why you can hear the bass playing the riff and the guitar trying to learn it. Check the facts first.

this is such a smokin song... maybe one of the top 20 of all time....

@godintheradio hes the one who mad the guitar riifffffffff
I like the drum intros before the guitars kick in in this version rather than the studio. Jonesy definately does not get enought credit for being as bad ass as he is on the bass. Thank goodness for youtube where you can easily access such great moments in rock n roll history with just one click of a mouse.

Just think: If Led Zep came out today they would never be signed or promoted because they don't do karaoke like Britney or Kanye.
