It is not a rumour I was there in 1963-1966 and asked for a solution to the problems between two sides and keep them apart the officer took his green felt tip pen and drew a line from Famagusta on the map to Paphos.From then on referred to as the ''green line''.Stop harping on about ''the cyprus problem'',cypriots of greek descent caused it by selfishness,watch old movies of the berlin wall to see what life will be like for years to come.

What a load of rubbish.
You invaded a foreign country, took part of it and then wonder why we don't want to accept your Solution?? I was there as a chil when this happened, you had Kisinger and the UK backing you. There was 70k turkish Cypriots, where are they now? You bring Turks from Turkey, settle them in and expect a solution. You will loose your backing from the US one day, and many nations will come knocking on your door. I feel sorry for your citizens when that happens.
