little man in a green bus
pulls up to the square
there's grass stains on his jeans
and straw in his hair

he sets up his guitar amp
plugs in a microphone
feedback echoes through the streets
as he stands there all alone

It seems he's got something to say
it seems he wants to get his way
he expects them listen
when all he does is create division

who do you hope to persuade
a man won't give you the time of day
if you ask him with a dull blade

a proud elephant won't stray
no matter how much a parakeet squawks away

now as the sun sets he begins to transmit
the governor likes to eat his own shit
the senator suck on each others balls
and have gay sex in bathroom stalls

but before he gets to his main points
he digs in his pockets, pulls out six joints
he lights em up one by one
his exhale veils the setting sun
