Cold sores are made worse by an amino acid called L-Arganine, which is found in chocolate. But the only way that I have found to stop cold sores is to get a perscription for Acyclovir.

@MiiMaker101 Herpes virus 1 is just oral aka around the mouth. Herpes virus 2 is genital. Both are both embarassing. I have type 1 herpes, and it's no fun at all.

@MiiMaker101 It is something that you have to thing about. But dont worry because youll worry for ever. you cant get rid of it... i just had my first outbreak and i might have been carring it for 4-5 years i cant really know...

herpes? what do u mean.? are u serious i used to get them as a child all the time! now i get them very less. does that seriosuly mean i have herpes ?.. is this something i should worry bout ?

I used to get cold sores almost all the time as a kid. Now, the only time I get them is when I'm really stressed out.
