Let's take a look at an imporant component of anyone's system. 5.11 TacLite Pro pants and the Tru Spec pants. Love 'em both. They both add nice creature comforts when you are out in the wilderness, running tactical missions, or just bumming around town.

  • I've going to order some 5.11 taclite pants. I'm concerned with their waist size. I've read that people recommend order up a size for their regular TDU pants which only come in medium, large, etc. For these tactlite, do you recommend going up or down from your regular jean size? I like to have a little room. I normally wear a 33/34 in jeans. Can you recommend what I should order for waist size?

  • @chucknoir They seem to run true to size and have a bit of expansion to them. I would one size up them so you can tuck bulkier shirts in if need be. Just my preference though.

  • Decent water repelency from my experience, same with the TruSpec's. Just awesome pants for your outdoor system. I didn't mix up the hot weather ones with the Taclite Pro's, just made a mistake. I most often do not have notes in front of me when I do these reviews so every once and a while I'll be thinking one thing, but say another. Just being human but I have incorprated spec notes into my reviews now so I avoid those mistakes in the future as much as possible.

  • as far as the delivery time the distance between you and them is exactly why it took so long I am in southern California and had my pants/polos in 2 days. Good review I love mine.

  • @mullensk8ter15 I think he mixed up the tac lite with the nylon hot weather ones.

  • show us the tundra color!

  • Taclite Pro's are made of a polycotton blend not of nylon. But nice review anway. Any reports on water repelency?
