  • What the hell happened to Phil Laak?!

  • Actually, the real reason the loose canon folded aces was because he listened to his intuition. :)

  • @DN64 If you're in that position, where he is literally just folding because he has the lead as the "loose cannon" and only the winningest loose cannon keeps his money, he could have announced to the table that "I'm only playing rockets."

Then he could have gone all in preflop, and nobody would have called. 6's and 4's would have been pitched in a millisecond.

  • wow what an idiot. Even if he did miss that was a bad fold

  • @ALBGunner04 Agreed. They are not the easiest hand to play unlike what some newbies here might tell you. Some people get married to their hands and that's just a plain mistake.

  • @DN64 Pocket rockets are shit. Mine get busted everytime by random donks who call and get two-pair with K-3 offsuit.

  • @MrUndead115 You have obviously never played poker if you truly believe that. I've seen pocket rockets get busted many times. There are plenty of flops he could fold on, even with the almighty pocket rockets.

  • @DN64: Well you're not really protecting your stack since there almost aren't any flops you'll be able to fold on. Unless you're only calling to continue on Ahigh boards or superdry flops

  • @holdem5180 Listen carefully, fool. His CLEAR AND CONCISE intentions were to PROTECT his 148K, PERIOD. The ONLY way to do that is to what? To? Yes, that's right SON, to always fold! You are such a fast learner! HOWEVER, with pocket aces, with a small 2K pre-flop call, I personally would have called just to see the flop, even if I was ALSO trying to PROTECT my 148K. Have you figured this all out now or are you going to be even a bigger dumbass? BYE.
