I am shocked & saddened to just find out that this great woman has passed away, A very brave lady with such a beautiful voice. RIP Mama Africa xx

My mother took me to see her at the Hollywood Bowl in the 60's. My mother died on November 11, 2008, the day after Miriam did. May they both be dancing and singing in the joy of God.
