August 7th 2010 Bobby Hill staffed a Va Beach EMS Volunteer Recruiting Table in the Center Court of Chesapeake Squad Mall.

Charlie Gurley, life member Virginia Beach Volunteer Rescue Squad staged the squads 1972 Cadillac Ambulance near the front entrance of the mall and provided tours of the Cadillac Ambulance and recruiting information.

  • In the U.S. our ambulances are too large. We focus on lots of storage space, walk around space inside and a lot of equipment.

  • @tobagotb10 And a picture search will show that Poland is still using (tiny) sedan conversions, more than 30 years after the US stopped using procars!

  • They still use this type of ambulance in Europe, often Mercedes based.
