  • @SockShock Yep it was deffo a real game, I saw a copy of it end up at £919 on ebay just today....was a perfect mint unused copy too, disks had NEVER been used, box and instructions were pristine....silly money to pay though for a game is that. Got to admit I wouldn't have minded owning it though as there are very few actual copies of it available that were "leaked out", I doubt i'd pay that for it though :/

  • @JoeyJoeJoe5000

It was a real game, it was coded, all art was done, start to finish, there are many rumours as to why it did not come out on the 64 (Spectrum, Amstrad, ST and Amiga came out), but I would leave that up to Martin Howarth to explain :)

  • @SockShock

All us artists at Software Creations that is!....dunno what they were using down the road, needless to say, they had more cash than we did, so Amstrads it was for us!

  • @dlfrsilver

Drew it on an amstrad, all us artists used the cpc6128 to do our art back then (Unless you were developing a game for the 64,amiga/st), I forget the art package (it was an awful long time ago)....I do remember, however, I did all my art back then using a bloody joystick!...whatever it was, I only used it while I was working on speccy, amstrad and nes games, when we moved onto SNES,MD and the like, we all went to d-paint on the pc.

  • Follin for teh WIN! :D

  • @SockShock : hey incredible :D you drew it on an amstrad CPC or an atari ST then converted to CPC screen format mode 0 ?

  • Never heard of this game before and stumbled upon it on pure chance but the music is indeed good.

  • @JoeyJoeJoe5000 It kind of exist. From what I hear it was half finished but never completed. I have a rom of it but haven't had much time to mess with it at all. Also rumor has it that a few copies are out and about somewhere.

  • I'm guessing that Gauntlet 3 is not a real game, as there is NO gameplay footage of it anywhere on youtube.

  • @PeyserCommodore

That's quite all right, I seem to remember the 64 version used my loading screen as well, don't think Martin had time to do one for it.
