(Mary Magdalene)
I'm so tired of being here
Suppressed by all my childish fears
And if you have to leave
I wish that you would just leave
'Cause your presence still lingers here
And it won't leave me alone

These wounds won't seem to heal
This pain is just too real
There's just too much that time cannot erase

(Jesus)
When you cried I'd wipe away all of your tears
When you'd scream I'd fight away all of your fears
And I held your hand through all of these years
But you still have
All of me

(Mary Magdalene)
You used to captivate me
By your resonating light
Now I'm bound by the life you left behind
Your face it haunts
My once pleasant dreams
Your voice it chased away
All the sanity in me

These wounds won't seem to heal
This pain is just too real
There's just too much that time cannot erase

(Jesus)
When you cried I'd wipe away all of your tears
When you'd scream I'd fight away all of your fears
And I held your hand through all of these years
But you still have
All of me

(Mary Magdalene)
I've tried so hard to tell myself that you're gone
But though you're still with me
I've been alone all along

(Jesus)
When you cried I'd wipe away all of your tears
When you'd scream I'd fight away all of your fears
And I held your hand through all of these years
But you still have
All of me

A very special thanks to all of the famous artists who painted these wonderful paintings of Jesus' life. Composing this video was a joy!

Also, a very warm thank you to Evanescence and Wind Up Records for delivering on the audio portion. I've loved this song from the first second I heard it.

I remember reading somewhere that Evanescence lead singer Amy Lee met (former Evanescence band member and co-songwriter) Ben Moody while at a youth camp, and she was playing MeatLoaf on the piano.

I thought, how fitting was that.

In a way, this Evanescence album reminds me of (experiencing) MeatLoaf's debut album. I was in 8th grade, Class of 1977. I played the Bat Out of Hell (1) album so much, to a point where my sister got so pissed at me, she ripped the album off the record player (!) and threw it. (A major victory for Meat Loaf fans everywhere was scored that day.)

But here's where my sister regained herself.

Later that same year, MeatLoaf played a concert at a local college here in New Jersey, and my sisters friend's father (Thank You Marion & Uncle Con!!!!!) worked part time at that local college (Joy!), so we got tickets!!!

I was 14, it was my 1st rock concert. Enough said. To this day I have never seen a rock and roll show so entertaining. We got there before they let everyone in. Marion's father who worked as a night time janitor, (We Miss You Con!!!!), snuck us in the back door (Joy again!).

We walked up to the third row and sat down. People flowed in minutes later, and then the show began. I was blown away sitting there, watching them do the entire original Bat Out of Hell album right in front of me.

At the time, MeatLoaf was pretty huge. Not in popularity yet, but in shear size. And this man could sing. By the end of the show, his tuxedo was literally soaking wet.

So, in retrospect, Ben meeting Amy while she was playing MeatLoaf was indeed a very inspirational moment for everyone!

Utilizing YouTubes audio swap program is what makes this song possible, so hopefully more artists will let us use their songs.

Last, but certainly not least, Thank You Jesus!!!!!!!!

  • This was a totally beautiful video. I'm really glad I got to see some paintings that I haven't seen before. I'm really irritated by some of the ugly and foolish remarks. YES PEOPLE! CHRISTIANS ARE HUMAN AND THEY GET ANGRY ... SOMETIMES THEY'D EVEN LIKE TO SMACK YOUR MOUTH FOR DISRESPECTING JESUS! It's difficult to always act in love, even around Valentine's day.

  • 10**********Stars!

    This was Beautiful Lou.

  • I don't believe in God Nor Jesus.

  • Jesus was Jesus. That should be good enough for all of us

  • I love the song and pictures

  • @airodump lol in islam , no ones killed him

  • I love magic Jesus. He's my favorite fictional character in any book of fiction. Even more so than Harry Potter. I like the parts when he says several times that you can have "anything" you wish for. Just wish real hard and it will magically appear. Magic is real you know, and magic Jesus lives in the sky.

  • Jesus is Jewish!

romans killed him, not jews but one jewish trator, not all of them.

  • Beautiful.

  • jesus was an alien
