It depends on the total number of inherits you've done, which you can check in the main menu. The game doesn't differentiate between weapons and armor during the process.

The shape change irregular caps at 25% after 750 inherits (750/3000). The other irregulars have difference caps: Elemental at 40% after 4000 (4000/10000, adds 3 non-opposing elements to either weapon or armor) and Irregular Awakening at 20% after 12000 (12000/60000). Lots of work, huh?

When you mention inheriting increases the chance of getting irregulars, is that the total number of inherits you've done, including both weapons and armour? Or is it only inherits of one type (weapon/armour)? Or does it mean inheriting one piece of equipment 750 times?

Yep, that's the sword. The irregular is completely luck-based. You're not likely to get the sword on your current playthrough unless you decide to inherit everything like crazy for the next while. You'll only have at most a 25% chance of getting the shape change after inheriting 750 times.

is falty sword the sword that become avaiable right after this dungeon. alright so I inherieted that sword with a weaker sword but I keep getting the same sword again... *sigh* looks like I won,t be able to get this sword

ファルステヴェルン-> Falstevelun? You should be able to get the Folty Sword either by winning it in the Arena (Minal), from Milhaust (only if you have 9 or less weapons for Veigue already) or buying it in Balka. I suggest winning it in Minal since you don't waste money that way.

You get a different sword in the final dungeon, which looks like an oversized cleaver. And besides, it's pretty typical to have to work for the one of the best weapons in the game, stat-wise.

you serious... I thought I am supposed to get this sword on the final dungeon. anyway so what is this falty sword .how do I get it???

You can't buy the sword in the video directly. You can buy the materials needed to make the sword from Balka, namely the Folty Sword and something weaker. I don't have a save near that point anymore to verify when they start selling the weapons, though it should be after Yuris' Realm appears.

sadly, I haven't inherieted any of my weapons yet. but u said I can buy it from Balka but they don,t sell it in there. I just finished this dungeon and went back to Balka but the sword I bought was something else....

IIRC, it's the morphic irregular from the Folty Sword. You can win the Folty Sword in the Arena from the Treasure Hunter category, or buy it in Balka after you finish this dungeon. Milhaust will also drop one.

To get the sword in the video, inherit a weaker sword into the Folty Sword and hope that it appears (save before doing it). Make sure that you've already been inheriting regularly to have a high enough inherit number.
