Game Description:
Disaster: Day of Crisis is a survival game, where the basic object is to live through various natural disasters, and escape alive. It is one of the more anticipated games for the Wii. According to Nintendo, the game will feature "Cutting-edge physics and gripping visuals" to re-create the sheer terror of major catastrophes. Disasters include an earthquake, a volcanic eruption, and a tsunami. Game functions include driving, survival, and foot missions. The player will take control of Ray, a former member of an elite rescue task force, and not only will Ray have to face nature, but also an unknown group of rogues who have taken advantage of the catastrophic events and seized a nuclear weapon.

The "story" is like a hilarious parody delivered with a straight face. I stopped taking it seriously when Ray screamed "NOOOOO!" for the first time... xD

I think this game is like a trashy B-movie. Sometimes stupid, but entertaining all the time. The story is like an epic joke and seriously, the graphics are not like you'd expect them from the current generation. But somehow this mixture appeals to me so much that I really enjoy playing it. Disaster is just not everyone's cup of tea I guess. I waited so long for it and my trailers are still the most well-known Disaster movies you'll find on YouTube. Somehow this game feels like my baby. =D

Shit if they got games that look that good in japan how come they dont have that in the USA? So people are lying saying that wii cant handle these kind of graphics! B.S, i say lazy companies just try to sell us bs and if we dont buy it they will have to make their merchandise better and hopefully they change their mind and make Resident Evil 5 for wii, haha PS3 we are going to get Monster Hunter 3, Score 1 for wii, but we are still losing sucks, be maybe just maybe ....

it has mixed reviews because the AI isn't accurate and the fact that its part rail shooter "what can you say? its an early wii title", but i think its a great Nintendo IP
