350 Cornwall - People Power: Moving Planet Rally

Transition Cornwall+ participated in the Cornwall Moving Planet event, September 24, 2011. Nearly 70 people showed up for the People Power: Moving Planet Rally as part of our community's contribution to the global 350.org movement. We paraded in Lamoureux Park in Cornwall, Ontario, Canada, and displayed posters that imagined new ways to travel; all to show our support for reducing our reliance on fossil fuels by celebrating people-power transportation alternatives. Afterwards, participants visited Moustache Joe's and The Grind to enjoy meals and snacks made with local produce.
