UFO lights in triangular formation over Huddersfield UK on Christmas Day 2009

UFO lights in a triangular formation flying over Huddersfield in the UK on Christmas Day 2009 at approximately 6:30 pm- in the Northwest of the sky flying in a southerly direction.
Movie shot hand held on a Canon 7D DSLR at 1080p and uploaded at 720p, using a Canon 24-105L lens at a constant aperture of F4 with focus set to infinity. The video was brightened in post-production to show more clearly the relative position of the lights in the sky to the outline of the rooftops.
Please note these lights are labelled as UFOs as they are literally 'unidentified flying objects', this in no way means the author believes them to contain sentient alien life, though that is open to debate.

I saw something like this back in the early 1990's, 3 lights in exactly the same positions as in this video, but maybe closer together. It was rush hour around about 6pm they were above the M62 at the time near Ainley Top in Huddersfield. The local tv news on BBC (Look North) reported it, hundreds saw it apparently.

@itsoddbut1 Funny you should say that, the direction from my point of view when looking at the lights would make them around the M62, I'm in milnsbridge and from my perspective I would be looking out towards New Hey Road, so perhaps it's not too far?

I saw the same identical lights in Hamilton Ohio over the Great Miami River towards Miamitown and they were way to low to be satellites and then we witnessed a fighter jet going towards them.They were not a satellite.I am not saying they were Aliens but this was in the early morning right when it was getting light out and the lights were not hooked to anything.And Why was a fighter jet checking them out from Wright-Patterson air force base? You could clearly see them and they moved in unison.

Interesting you shld say that - it would explain a pattern I saw last year that really confused me: looked like a passing satellite - only there were 3, fixed in perfect formation (heading due north). That said, I can't see that satellites are what we see in this vid: the sky looks to be too hazy to show any starlight (bar one, faint one) - not the sort of conditions that allow for sightings of satellites - especially not 3, far apart (or at low altitude) and so low to the horizon.
